Willie Park Jr. (1864-1925) was a Scottish professional golfer and pioneering golf course architect, son of the famous Willie Park Sr. A two-time Open Champion (1887, 1889), he transitioned to become one of the first globe-trotting architects, designing influential courses across the UK, US, and Europe. Park Jr. was celebrated for his strategic design philosophy, skillfully utilizing natural topography and incorporating hazards to create challenging yet enjoyable layouts, exemplified by his work at Sunningdale (Old), Maidstone, Notts (Hollinwell), and Huntercombe. He also authored the significant book "The Art of Golf".
