Waterford Golf Club, founded in 1912, is a members-owned and run 18-hole parkland course situated on a hill overlooking the city of Waterford in the sunny south east of Ireland. The front 9 was designed by Willie Park Jr. junior, a two-time Open Champion, and the back 9 by James Braid, a five-time Open Champion. The course is renowned for the quality of its greens and its friendly atmosphere. It offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience with strategically placed hazards, undulating fairways, and pristine greens. The course is a par 71 and measures 5,722m from the white tees. Waterford Golf Club has hosted events such as the Irish Senior Men's Amateur Close Championship in 2021. The clubhouse includes a bar and restaurant, and the club offers facilities for corporate events. Practice facilities include a putting green.
