Why Does Golf Need A Sherpa?
We started with a simple frustration. Golf events, whether a casual trip, society day, or corporate outing, were too complicated to organise. Everything was fragmented across spreadsheets, emails, group chats, and multiple systems, leaving one person to manage it all.
As we spent time in the industry, we realised this wasn’t just a problem for organisers such as ourselves.
Venues, clubs, and event hosts were facing the same challenge. They had the facilities, demand, and expertise to deliver great events, but lacked the systems to manage, promote, and scale them effectively. Many relied on outdated processes or third-party operators, losing control over their own events in the process.
Golf Sherpa is the circular solution that fixes both sides of this problem.
We’ve created an integrated platform that brings together planning, live event management, delivery and legacy into one place. Our public use app helps golfers manage rounds, competitions, and trips with live scoring and group coordination. That engagement then feeds into our core platform, helping provide venues, businesses, and organisations with the data to run and monetise events more effectively.
Today, Golf Sherpa supports everything from group trips to large-scale corporate and charity events, giving organisers more control, reducing admin, and helping venues unlock more value from every event they host.

We began innovating with our event management app & unlocked a new way to heighten competitions & ensure data is collected and communicating in impactful ways.

Golf Sherpa's Journey Begins
We delivered our largest event (Ryder Cup team competition, overarching all participants net competition, 3 classification gross competitions) all in one event. This was the proof that we can deliver as a business. After years of organising trips for our select network we decided launch Golf Sherpa & help the wider community

We’ve secured 38 venue partners, delivered group, corporate, and charity events, and established recurring partnerships. This has allowed us to refine both the platform and the service based on real-world use.
This insight also led to a shift in our strategy. We evolved Golf Sherpa from a primarily B2C, package model into a B2B-focused platform designed to support venues, businesses, and organisations in delivering events at scale.
