Tramore Golf Club (Old Course)
Parkland Course in Tramore, Ireland
Tramore Golf Club, located in County Waterford, Ireland, is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland, with golf being played there since 1894. It is a premier parkland course that has hosted the Irish Close Championship on three occasions and boasts 27 holes with sand-based greens constructed to USPGA standards. The Old Course is an 18-hole, par 72 championship course. It was remodelled by internationally renowned golf course designer Jeff Howes, while preserving its original character. The course is characterized by gently undulating greens and requires accuracy from the tee. The club offers excellent on-site facilities including a practice area with putting, bunkers, and practice nets, a pro shop, bar, and restaurant.
