The Royal Burgess Golfing Society of Edinburgh, founded in 1735 and with its current 18-hole, par 71 parkland course opening in 1895, is a prestigious club located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The course, designed by Willie Park Jr. Jnr, Old Tom Morris, James Braid, Harry Colt and Philip MacKenzie Ross, features mature trees, lush fairways, and fast greens. Known for challenging par 4s like the 4th, 7th, and 17th, it also features a picturesque 11th hole. As a primarily private members' club, visitors are welcomed with advance booking. Facilities include a pro shop, club fitting, rentals, changing rooms, lockers, putting green, practice area, and a restaurant.
