Hartlepool Golf Club
Links Course in Hartlepool, England
Established in 1906, Hartlepool Golf Club is a links course situated on the north east coast of England. The course, originally a 9-hole layout, was expanded to 18 holes in 1911 with design input from Willie Park Jr. James Braid later made alterations and implemented a bunkering plan in 1929, focusing on the central holes. The course presents a challenge with its undulating fairways and coastal winds. While not a regular Open Qualifying venue, the club's attached professional qualified for The Open Championship in 2022.
