Portstewart Golf Club, founded in 1894 in Portstewart, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, is home to three 18-hole links courses, with the championship Strand Course being the most renowned. Designed by Willie Park Jr. and Des Giffin, the Strand Course is set in classic links country amid towering sand dunes and offers spectacular views of the Donegal Hills, the Atlantic Ocean, Strand Beach, and the River Bann. It is considered one of the top true links courses in Ireland and has hosted significant tournaments, including the Irish Open in 2017. The course is known for its challenging layout, undulating fairways, deep bunkers, and fast greens, providing a true test of golf. Facilities at the club include a pro shop, driving range, practice area, putting green, and chipping green, along with a clubhouse featuring restaurant facilities.
