Ashfield Golf Club
Parkland Course in Newry, Northern Ireland
Nestled in the heart of South Armagh, Ashfield Golf Course offers a pleasant parkland golf experience. Designed by Frank Ainsworth and officially opened in 1990 by championship golfer Fred Daly M.B.E., the course has matured over the years with the addition of thousands of trees and several lakes. While not among the UK's most famous golfing destinations or a venue for Open Qualifying, it provides a fair test of golf with its own distinct character, including a notable signature hole at the 6th.
