Gailes Links, owned and managed by the prestigious Glasgow Golf Club, is a classic Scottish links course located on the Ayrshire coast in Irvine, Scotland. Opened in 1892 and redesigned by Willie Park Jr. Jnr in 1912, it is renowned for its challenging layout featuring undulating fairways lined with gorse and heather, strategically placed bunkers, and true greens. Gailes Links has a significant history of hosting major events, including serving as an Open Championship Final Qualifying course since 1973 and hosting numerous international competitions. The facility offers a range of amenities including a clubhouse with catering, a pro shop, driving range, putting green, changing rooms, and rental services for clubs, trolleys, and buggies. Visitors are welcome on most days with advance booking and a handicap requirement.
