The Nevill Golf Club
Parkland Course in Tunbridge Wells, England
The Nevill Golf Club, situated on the southern edge of Tunbridge Wells, offers a parkland golf experience steeped in history. Established in 1914 as a nine-hole course by Willie Park Jr. Junior, it was later extended to 18 holes by the renowned James Braid. Harry Colt also contributed to the design in the 1920s, and the current layout is largely based on revisions made by three-time Open Champion Henry Cotton in 1965. The course is known for being enjoyable yet challenging, with views over the well-wooded slopes of Bayham and Frant. The club welcomed visitors and societies, although weekend visitor play is not usually allowed.
