Nevill Golf Club (The )
Parkland Course in Tunbridge Wells, England
Nevill Golf Club, established in 1914, is a historic parkland course located in Tunbridge Wells, England. Originally a nine-hole layout designed by Willie Park Jr. Junior, the course was later expanded to 18 holes by James Braid in 1920. Harry Colt also contributed to the design in the 1920s, and in 1965, Henry Cotton redesigned and extended the course, forming the basis of the layout played today. The course is known for its rolling terrain, mature trees, and challenging features. It has previously been recognized by The R&A as an Open Qualifying venue and has hosted EGU and County events. While not considered a top 100 course, it is regarded as a very good course and has a reputation for producing talented golfers.
