Established in 1906 and moving to its current cliff-top site in 1913 with a layout fashioned by Willie Park Jr. Gorleston Golf Club in England offers a coastal golf experience with views of the North Sea. The course, later remodelled by figures including Fred Hawtree, presents a gently undulating links-style challenge. As the easternmost course in the country, it is a notable location. While hosting various club and junior open events, there is no indication from available information that it has served as a qualifying venue for The Open Championship.
