Frank Pennink Designed Golf Courses

Frank Pennink (1913-1984) was a prominent British golf course architect active from the 1950s through the early 1980s. He designed or remodeled numerous courses primarily across Europe, including the UK, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands, often working alongside C.K. Cotton. Pennink was known for his thoughtful designs that effectively utilized the natural terrain. Notable works include Vilamoura Old in Portugal and Noordwijk in the Netherlands. He was also the author of the esteemed "Golfer's Companion" travel guide.
