Nestled in the heart of Suffolk, Bury St Edmunds Golf Club offers a mature parkland test with a rich history. Originally laid out in 1924 by Ryder Cup Captain Ted Ray, the course underwent a significant redesign in the late 1960s by Frank Pennink due to the construction of the A14. This evolution has resulted in a course that measures over 6,600 yards from the white tees, making it one of the longer courses in the county. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers, demanding thoughtful shot-making. The club has a reputation for its superb conditioning and regularly hosts county events. Visitors are welcome daily to experience this engaging course.
