Flempton Golf Club, located near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk, England, is a charming nine-hole heathland course with a rich history dating back to 1895. Originally founded as Flempton & Bury St Edmunds Golf Club, the course was redesigned by five-time Open Champion John Henry Taylor in 1906 after the club acquired additional land. The layout, which plays like an inland links, is notable for its unusual configuration of three returning three-hole loops. Situated on sandy soil, the course is known for being playable year-round. While not a traditional Open Qualifying venue, Flempton Golf Club did host a Regional Qualifying Tournament for The Golf Club Secretary's 24th Open Championship in 2020.
