Royal Blackheath Golf Club, located in Eltham, London, England, is a historic parkland course with a rich history dating back to 1608, making it one of the world's oldest golf clubs and the oldest in England. The club moved to its current site, the former Eltham Golf Club course, in 1923, with the course originally laid out by Tom Dunn in 1892 and significantly altered by James Braid in the late 1920s. More recent renovations were completed in 2019 under the guidance of Ken Moodie. The 18-hole, par 71 course measures 6,278 yards from the purple tees and is known for its tree-lined fairways, strategic bunkers, and challenging greens. The club welcomes visitors on weekdays, and members' guests daily, requiring a valid handicap certificate. The clubhouse is the magnificent Grade I listed Eltham Lodge, dating from 1664, which houses a golf museum.
