Shifnal Golf Club is set in picturesque Shropshire countryside, offering a parkland course with a mix of challenging and enjoyable holes. Originally a 9-hole course, the club relocated in 1963 to its current site, where Frank Pennink designed the present 18-hole layout, which opened in 1966. The course is set in the grounds of a stunning 18th-century classical regency house that serves as the clubhouse. The course features tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and strategically placed bunkers, providing a good test for golfers of all levels. It has hosted various national and regional events, including the English Mid-Amateur Men's Open and the English Women's Senior Championship.
