Market Drayton Golf Club, established in 1906, is a parkland course located in Shropshire, England. Originally a 9-hole course on a different site, it moved to its current location in 1926 as a 9-hole layout and was extended to 18 holes in 1988. The course is set in the rural Shropshire countryside, offering views of the surrounding area. It features gently undulating fairways, mature trees, and natural water features, providing a test for golfers of various abilities. The club's history includes having Bert Gadd, a winner of the French and Irish Opens, as their professional in the late 1920s and 1930s. The course is known for its well-draining terrain, allowing play throughout the year.
