The Shropshire Golf Centre (Blue Silver)

The Shropshire Golf Centre, located in Telford, England, offers a 27-hole complex designed by Martin Hawtree, situated on over 250 acres of undulating parkland. Established in 1992, the facility provides three distinct nine-hole loops – Blue, Silver, and Gold – which can be combined to create various 18-hole layouts, offering a fresh experience on each visit. The Blue course presents a challenging start with demanding par-fours and doglegs, including a notable par-three with water. The Silver course is often regarded as the strongest of the three, featuring a good variety of par-threes, fours, and fives, with particularly challenging par-threes. The Gold course is characterised by the presence of water on every hole, including the signature 5th hole with ponds guarding the drive and a horseshoe-shaped pond around the green. While not a traditional Open Qualifying venue, The Shropshire Golf Centre is a well-regarded club in the region, providing a versatile and picturesque golfing experience with views stretching towards the Welsh border.
