Lamberhurst Golf Club (Undetermined)

Lamberhurst Golf Club, established in 1890, is a members' club located in Kent, England. The club's history dates back to an announcement in 1885, with a 9-hole course formally opening in 1890. Originally limited to fifty members, the club and course evolved over the years. The course was used for military purposes during both World Wars but was restored afterward. In the 1970s, with the acquisition of additional land, the course was extended to 18 holes, with Frank Pennink and Colonel Henry Morland credited with the design. Situated in parkland, the course spans both sides of the River Teise and offers scenic views of the Kent and Sussex countryside. While appearing deceptively manageable from its nearly 6,500-yard back tees, the layout incorporates subtle slopes and undulations that provide a good test for golfers. A notable hole is the signature 12th, requiring a carry over water. The club has a history of hosting various open competitions and has been noted as a venue for events like the Robin Young Trophy Qualifier.
