Our Strategy
Each 9 holes plays like a completely different course. Use the low road front nine to dial in your irons and play smart, sensible golf. On high road back 9 it opens up and plays more links style, letting you open your shoulders and have some fun with the driver, all while enjoying spectacular views. Its a tough but rewarding course and the perfect setting for it.
Review
The Carrick Course delivers a championship experience worthy of its setting, playing across the Highland Boundary Line. The flatter front nine holes are situated in the Scottish Lowlands with narrow fairways and water hazards to challenge any golfer. The back nine holes climb into the Scottish Highlands, offering more spectacular views of Loch Lomond. Elevation changes, sweeping fairways, and flawless greens make every shot memorable against Loch Lomond’s shimmering backdrop.
Must Know Tips
- 1Hole 3 (par 4) - Don't be brave & look to cut off too much of the pond. The banks all slope to the water, resulting in balls kicking or spinning back into the water.
- 2Hole 4 (par 4) - One of the narrowest fairways around with trees right and water left. Play safe and walk away happy with a par, it could lead to a big number if you go for it.
- 3Hole 12 (par 3) - Don't underestimate the wind on this part of the course, take an extra club on this already long par 3 to avoid coming up short.

Hole 14
