Wigan Golf Club, situated in Haigh, England, is a parkland course with a history dating back to 1898. Initially a nine-hole layout, it was extended to 18 holes in 1998 with the work carried out by Gaunt & Marnoch (Steve Marnoch). The course is set within the grounds of Haigh Hall, with the historic clubhouse, known as Arley Hall, notable for being surrounded by a 12th-century moat. The course itself is characterized by mature trees and undulating fairways, offering a traditional parkland test. While not exceptionally long by modern standards, the course requires thoughtful shot placement.
