Nestled in Lancashire, Dean Wood Golf Club was founded in 1922. The club's 18-hole parkland course offers a game of two distinct halves. The initial nine, added in 1932 and designed by five-time Open Champion James Braid, presents a relatively flat, tree-lined introduction. The original back nine provides a different test, featuring undulating terrain, sloping fairways, and smaller, contoured greens that demand accurate shot-making. The course incorporates strategic water hazards and bunkers throughout.
