Dean Wood Golf Club, situated in Lancashire, England, offers a golf experience steeped in history, with a course originally established in 1922. The club's 18-hole parkland course is a design influenced by the renowned five-time Open Champion, James Braid, who shaped the current front nine in 1932 when the course was expanded from its original nine holes. The course presents a game of two distinct halves; the Braid-designed outward nine provides a gentler introduction through tree-lined parkland, while the inward nine, comprising the original holes, demands greater precision with its sloping fairways and smaller, undulating greens. Though not exceptionally long at just over 6,000 yards, the course provides a notable challenge and offers scenic views of the surrounding East Lancashire landscape. The club has been a venue for Lancashire Golf events, including the Women's Handicap Interclub Final.
