Turton Golf Club, established in 1908, is situated on the edge of the West Pennine Moors near Bolton, England. The course, influenced by James Braid, offers a mix of moorland and parkland holes. It was originally a 9-hole layout and was extended to 18 holes in the 1990s. The course is known for its challenging yet fair play, featuring undulating fairways and well-maintained greens, with views across the surrounding countryside. The club has a history of hosting competitive events and its clubhouse, recently refurbished, retains many of its original features. While not a widely known Open Qualifying venue, a player from Turton Golf Club did participate in a Regional Qualifying event in 2023.
