Swinton Park Golf Club
Parkland Course in Swinton, England
Swinton Park Golf Club, a James Braid design from 1926, offers a parkland test near Manchester. Known for its tree-lined fairways and relatively flat terrain, the course provides a good challenge with strategically placed bunkers and some water hazards. It was once considered one of the longest courses in Greater Manchester and has a history as a community hub. While not a current Open Qualifying location, the club has a notable past, including being the champion club in England in the 1970s.
