Manchester Golf Club, also known as Hopwood, is situated in Middleton, Greater Manchester, England. Founded in 1882 as the Manchester St Andrews Golf Club, it moved to its current location at Hopwood Park in 1912. The 18-hole course was designed by the renowned architect Harry Colt and has remained largely true to his original layout, although it has been lengthened over the years. The course spans approximately 247 acres and features a blend of moorland, heathland, and parkland characteristics, offering varied terrain and scenic views. While not a regular Open Qualifying venue, the club has seen players from Manchester Golf Club progress to Open Final Qualifying in recent years.
