Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club

Stinchcombe Hill Golf Club, perched on the southern edge of the Cotswold Escarpment in England, offers a golfing experience notable for its history and setting. Founded in 1889 with an initial 9-hole layout, the course was expanded to 18 holes in 1906. It later benefited from redesigns by Fred Hawtree in 1922 and further modifications based on the advice of James Braid between 1929 and 1936. The course is a parkland test, playing to a par of 68. While not long by modern standards, its natural undulations and features provide a good challenge. The club has hosted a Junior Open competition.
