Minchinhampton Golf Club (The Cherington Course)
Inland Links/Parkland Course in Stroud, England
Minchinhampton Golf Club's Cherington Course, opened in 1995, is one of three courses at this Gloucestershire club. Designed by Martin Hawtree, incorporating elements from a 1970s F.W. Hawtree layout, the course is often described as having an inland links feel, characterised by large, undulating greens and firm, fast fairways. While not consistently ranked among the UK's top tier, it has played a role in competitive golf, having hosted the Open Championship Regional Qualifying between 2002 and 2007.
