Established in 1889, Ludlow Golf Club holds the distinction of being the oldest club in the Union of Shropshire and Herefordshire. The course, as it plays today, was shaped by the renowned architect James Braid in 1927. Situated on sandy, well-drained land, it is often likened to an inland links, offering consistently good playing conditions throughout the year. The gently undulating fairways and well-regarded greens provide a fair and engaging test of golf amidst attractive South Shropshire countryside.
