Llanymynech Golf Club offers a truly unique golfing experience situated on the border between England and Wales. Established in 1933, the course is famous for having holes that straddle the ancient Offa's Dyke, allowing golfers to tee off in one country and putt out in another on the same hole. The course itself presents a varied test, combining elements of parkland, heathland, and hillside terrain, providing undulating fairways and elevated tees that offer expansive views of the surrounding landscape. Notably, Llanymynech is recognised as the original golfing home of former Masters champion Ian Woosnam. It provides an engaging round for visitors seeking something a little different.
