Gosforth Golf Club

Nestled in the leafy suburbs just north of Newcastle city centre, Gosforth Golf Club, affectionately known as “The Bridlepath,” has been a fixture in the local golfing landscape since its establishment in 1906. Set across 90 acres, the course offers a pleasant round for golfers of varying abilities. The club celebrated its centenary in 2006 by hosting the Northumberland County Championship and the English Boys under 14s Championship. While not an Open Qualifying venue, the course provides an enjoyable test with a mix of challenging longer holes and engaging shorter ones.
