Steeped in history as the fourth oldest golf club in England, Alnmouth Golf Club, also known as Foxton Hall, offers a compelling golfing experience on the Northumberland coast. Established in 1869, the current 18-hole course, laid out by the renowned architect H.S. Colt and opened in 1931, presents a parkland challenge despite its seaside location. The course is particularly noted for the quality and presentation of its greens, set within an area of outstanding natural beauty. Alnmouth provides a traditional test of golf with a rich heritage.
