Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Club is a traditional links course situated in Embleton Bay, Northumberland, England, in the shadow of the dramatic 14th-century Dunstanburgh Castle. The club has roots tracing back to 1900 with a 9-hole course, which was later redesigned and extended to 18 holes by the renowned architect James Braid starting in 1920. The course is known for its undulating fairways, deep revetted bunkers, and exposure to coastal winds, offering a true test of links golf with memorable holes and views of the North Sea. The course was extended in stages throughout the 1920s and 1930s to reach its current 18-hole layout. While there's no dedicated pro shop, the clubhouse provides a welcoming atmosphere with catering available. The course is open to visitors and offers a classic links experience.
