About St Idloes Golf Club (St. Idloes)

St Idloes Golf Club, located in Llanidloes, Powys, Wales, is a 9-hole parkland course established in 1897 on the site of a former race course and cricket practice grounds. The course, which returned to its current Penrhallt location in 1947, offers a challenging and varied layout over undulating terrain, with a total length of 5,510 yards for eighteen holes and a par of 66. Accuracy and course management are key due to slopes, hidden greens, gorse, heather, and tree-lined fairways; long hitters gain little advantage. The club prides itself on a friendly atmosphere and welcomes visitors and societies. Facilities include a pro shop, restaurant, bar, driving range, putting green, changing facilities, and trolley hire.
