Surbiton Golf Club (18-Hole Course)

Surbiton Golf Club, located in Surrey, England, traces its origins back to 1895 with a 9-hole course designed by Tom Dunn. The course was expanded to 18 holes two years later. James Braid is also thought to have contributed to the course's design, particularly after the construction of the Kingston bypass in 1924 and a redesign of the 6th hole after World War II. The parkland course measures just over 6,000 yards with a par of 70 and features some traditional design elements, such as crossing fairways on the 1st and 3rd holes, and a shared double green for the 8th and 18th. Notable holes include the par-three 4th with its offset green, the lengthy and narrow par-five 14th with a bunkerless green, and the doglegging par-four 18th. The club has previously been a venue for Open Qualifying. Subject to booking and availability, visitors are welcome on weekdays and weekends, excluding competition days.
