Burhill Golf Club (New Course)
Parkland Course in Walton-on-Thames, England
Burhill Golf Club, located in Surrey, England, offers a contrasting experience to its older sibling with the modern New Course. Opened in 2001 and designed by Simon Gidman, this championship course presents a different test with its emphasis on length and well-protected greens. Water hazards, including the meandering River Mole, feature prominently, notably on the par-three 18th which plays over the river towards the clubhouse. The New Course has been a venue for Regional Open Qualifying, hosting events from 2016-2019, in 2022, and again in 2023.
