Coombe Hill Golf Club, situated in Surrey, England, is a classic parkland course with a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1911. Designed by the renowned Abercromby, J.F. (John Frederick), who reputedly surveyed the land from a hot air balloon, the course is known for its undulating terrain and strategic bunkering. While not long by modern standards, Coombe Hill demands precision, particularly on its notoriously tricky greens. The club has strong ties to the history of professional golf, with several Open Champions among its past members. The course has also previously hosted the PGA Assistants' Championship on multiple occasions.
