Meyrick Park Golf Club, located in Bournemouth, England, holds a notable place in history as the first municipally owned golf course in the country, established in 1894. Designed by Tom Dunn, the course is set within 120 acres of undulating parkland. Its character is defined by mature trees and strategically placed bunkers that shape the verdant, tree-lined fairways. While not a championship venue in the traditional sense, it offers a proper test of parkland golf. Notable holes include the challenging opening par-3 and the picturesque 14th.
