Luffenham Heath Golf Club, established in 1911, is a classic heathland course located in the rolling countryside of Rutland, England. Originally laid out by the esteemed design partnership of Harry Colt and C.H. Alister MacKenzie, the course has seen subsequent revisions by notable architects including James Braid and Martin Hawtree. Known for its firm fairways and subtly undulating greens, the course demands accuracy, with strategic bunkers and challenging rough in play. The natural beauty of the setting is underscored by its designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Luffenham Heath has been recognised as a strong test of golf and was selected to host Regional Qualifying for The Open Championship from 2013 to 2017.
