Abbotsley Golf Club (Cromwell Course)

Abbotsley Golf Club, home to the Cromwell Course, is set in the Cambridgeshire countryside near St Neots. The Cromwell is the more open of the two 18-hole courses at the facility, offering views across the landscape. It is considered a more forgiving test than the longer Abbotsley course and was built in 1990. While perhaps better suited to the less experienced golfer, it still presents a good test with strategically placed water hazards and challenging greens. The club has hosted various events, including a regional qualifier for the Crown Golf English PGA Assistants' Championship in the past. It's worth noting that some reports indicate the Cromwell course, and potentially the entire facility, may be closed or facing issues, though other sources still list contact and green fee information.
