St Neots Golf Club, established in 1890, holds the distinction of being the oldest golf club in Cambridgeshire, England. The club's history is notably linked to the legendary Harry Vardon, who designed a new nine-hole course on the current site in 1912. The course was later expanded to 18 holes in 1966 with the acquisition of additional land. Situated at the confluence of the Rivers Kym and Great Ouse, the parkland course is characterized by both water features and mature tree-lined fairways. While water is particularly in play on the front nine, the back nine presents a different challenge. The course is considered a mature parkland layout that requires strategic thinking. St Neots Golf Club was used as a Regional Qualifying venue for The Open Championship in 2023.
