Littlestone Golf Club (The Warren)
Links Course in New Romney, England
Littlestone Golf Club, located on the Kent coastline, is a historic links venue offering two distinct courses: the Championship Links and The Warren. Founded in 1888, the club has a rich history with contributions from renowned architects such as William Laidlaw Purves, James Braid, and Alister MacKenzie to the Championship course. The Warren, originally a 9-hole layout, was extended to 18 holes in 1993. Set on the edge of the Romney Marsh, the courses benefit from a unique microclimate, making it one of the driest areas in England and allowing for year-round play on firm, fast-running fairways. The Championship Links has a notable history as an Open Championship Final Qualifying venue.
