Kingswood Golf and Country Club (Championship Course)
Parkland Course in Kingswood, England
Set in the rolling hills of Surrey, Kingswood Golf and Country Club is a classic James Braid design established in 1928. This parkland course, considered one of Braid's finest in England, measures just over 6,900 yards from the white tees and features gently undulating fairways flanked by mature trees. The course underwent a significant renovation program by Howard Howard Swan between 2008 and 2010, which included an overhaul of the numerous strategically placed bunkers. Kingswood has a history of hosting important championships, including three Ladies European Opens, and was selected to host the British Senior Open Qualifying in 2011. The stretch of holes from the extended 14th is notable and affectionately known by members as "Murder Mile".
