About Gloucester Golf Club
Established in 1976, Gloucester Golf Club is set on the eastern slopes of Robinswood Hill in Gloucestershire, England. The course was envisaged in 1969, with golf course architect Mr. John Day tasked with its design. The layout takes advantage of the natural topography, falling from 600 feet to 200 feet, creating an interesting and at times challenging round. Streams and ponds are integrated into the landscape, providing natural hazards alongside mature trees and wooded areas. The initial ten holes navigate the lower slopes with water hazards in play, while the back nine, particularly the uphill par 3 11th, offers scenic views of Gloucester and the surrounding countryside. The course is an 18-hole, par 70 championship course.
