Fairhaven Golf Club, situated in Lancashire, England, boasts a rich history dating back to its founding in 1895. The club relocated to its present site in 1924, featuring a course designed by Jack Steer and the renowned James Braid. Characterised by a unique blend of links and parkland features, the course is notable for its strategic mounding and abundant, often deep, bunkers. Subsequent refinements by architects including Dave Thomas and Donald Steel have maintained the course's challenge. Fairhaven has also served as an Open Championship Final Qualifying venue when The Open has been held at nearby Royal Lytham & St Annes. The course provides a fair test, placing a premium on accuracy to avoid its numerous sandy hazards.
