St Annes Old Links, established in 1901 on land with a history of golf dating back to 1886, stands as a fine example of a traditional links course on the northwest coast of England. Located in Lytham St Annes, it offers a classic links challenge set amongst sand dunes with the ever-present coastal wind influencing play. The course has a distinguished history, having served as a Final Qualifying venue for The Open Championship on multiple occasions, including recently from 2018 to 2022. It has also hosted qualifying events for the Women's British Open and the Senior Open, and co-hosted The Amateur Championship in 2022. Regularly recognised as one of the Top 100 courses in England, St Annes Old Links presents a test of accuracy and resilience on its undulating fairways and notably fast greens, with the signature 9th hole being a particular highlight.
