Jack Steer (1887-1973) was a British golf course architect active during the Golden Age of golf design. While perhaps less famous than contemporaries, he contributed to several notable courses, often working alongside Herbert Fowler. His credits include design and revision work at prestigious clubs like Royal Ashdown Forest, The Berkshire (Red & Blue), and Walton Heath (New). He is particularly remembered for his role in the sensitive remodeling of Willie Park Jr.'s Old Course at Sunningdale.
