Blackburn Golf Club, founded in 1894 during the town's industrial peak, offers a parkland course with a rich history. The layout has evolved significantly since its early days as farmland grazed by livestock. Renowned architect James Braid visited in 1933 and influenced the course's character. The 18-hole course is set in the Lancashire countryside, providing views of the Pennine Hills and the Fylde coast. It presents a fair test of golf with undulating terrain.
