Established in 1893, Darwen Golf Club offers a unique blend of parkland and moorland golf in Lancashire, England. The course begins with a front nine set in a parkland style with some water features, transitioning to a more exposed moorland layout on the back nine. The elevation changes throughout the course provide a challenging round with varied lies. While not a widely known Open Qualifying venue, the club has a notable connection to the Open Championship through Richard Burton, a Darwen native who won The Open at St Andrews in 1939. The club continues to honour the Burton brothers through annual competitions. The course measures just over 6,200 yards with a par of 71.
